"American Idol" 2014 is amping up during a season that seems to include plenty of great crooners. However, on March 6, one more talented contestant was asked to leave "AI", having not earned enough votes to keep this singer in the reality show that will crown a winner later this year.
Last night's performance show was a tough one, with all three judges getting really picky as the top 12 performed songs that gave a feeling for each remaining contestant's home town.
For instance, Jessica Meuse was taken to task for being off key. In fact, Harry Connick Jr. said she was sharp throughout her performance. His fellow judges agreed that Jessica wasn't on her game on Wed.
Because of the harsh words from the "American Idol" arbiters during the performance show, each of the 12 left was likely a bit concerned about his or her fate. Before finding out, the doen listened to Philip Phillips sing "Home."
Meanwhile, the bottom three contestants were Emily Piriz Jena Irene, and MK Nobilette. All three had hope but finally, at the end of the "American Idol" 2014 results show, one of these talented members of the top 12 was kicked off 'AI' on March 6.
So who was that?
The answer is Emily Piriz. And then there were 11. Watch "American Idol" on Wed. and Thurs. again next week.
