The fifth audition episode of "American Idol" season 12 will air on Jan. 30, 2013. The judges are visiting Long Beach, Calif., in search of talent. Many "American Idol" hopefuls were given golden tickets to Hollywood but only a few will go on to make it past those Hollywood auditions. "American Idol" introduces many young singers and their stories to the viewers but a lot of them simply don't make it very far in the competition. The singers seen in "American Idol's" Long Beach, Calif., episode that are still in the competition are listed below. All of the other singers featured in this episode have been cut.
Aubrey Cleland is a 19-year-old from Portland, Ore. Aubrey has tried out for "American Idol" twice before. She made it to the top 90 during season 10, and into the top 40 during season 11.
Bryant Tadeo is from Hawaii. Tadeo recently won a competition called "Hawaiian Idol." He also auditioned for "American Idol" in season 11.
Elijah Liu plays the guitar and is from California. He auditioned for "American Idol" last year.
Juliana Chahayed plays the guitar and also writes songs. She comes from a musical family.
Kamaria Ousley is a 2005 Berklee College of Music graduate from Oakland, Calif.
Shuba Vedula is a 17-year-old from Mt. Pleasant, Mich.
Rachel Hale is a 21-year-old country music singer from Prescott, Ark.
