The second audition episode of "American Idol" season 12 aired on Jan. 17, 2013. The judges visited Chicago in search of talent. Many "American Idol" hopefuls were given golden tickets to Hollywood but only a few will go on to make it past those Hollywood auditions. Since the initial auditions are recorded in advance there are spoilers available.
"American Idol" introduces many young singers and their stories to the viewers but a lot of them simply don't make it very far in the competition. To see which idols will make it all the way to the top 40 scroll down and view the list of spoilers but if you would rather be surprised please do not read any further.
The singers seen in the Chicago episode that are still in the competition are listed below. All of the other singers featured in the second episode episode have been cut.
Curtis Finch Jr. is a 24-year-old tutor from St. Louis.
Johnny Keyser is a 23-year-old from Pompano Beach, Fla. Keyser auditioned last year for season 11 but he did not get past the final Hollywood round.
Josh Holiday is a 24-year-old vocal coach from Celeste, Texas.
Josh "Jada" Davila was not featured American Idol yet but he did audition in Chicago. He is very androgynous and should prove to be an interesting contestant. He does make it into the top 40 so he must have a great voice.
Lazaro Arbos, is a 21-year-old from Naples, Fla., that has a severe stutter. The stuttering seems to vanish when Lazaro sings and he has a beautiful singing voice.
The judges will be visiting Charlotte, N.C., in search of more talent next Wednesday. That episode of "American Idol" will air Jan. 23, 2013, on FOX channel WAWS 30 in Jacksonville. Keep checking back here at Examiner for more spoilers throughout the week.
