The fourth audition episode of "American Idol" season 12 aired on Jan. 24, 2013. The judges visited Baton Rouge, La., in search of talent. Many "American Idol" hopefuls were given golden tickets to Hollywood but only a few will go on to make it past those Hollywood auditions. Since the initial auditions are recorded in advance there are spoilers available.
"American Idol" introduces many young singers and their stories to the viewers but a lot of them simply don't make it very far in the competition. To see which idols will make it all the way to the top 40 scroll down and view the list of spoilers but if you would rather be surprised please do not read any further.
The singers seen in the Baton Rouge episode that are still in the competition are listed below. All of the other singers featured in this episode have been cut.
Brandy Hotard is a 26-year-old registered nurse and former pageant girl from Port Allen, La.
Breanna Steer is an 18-year-old student from LaPlace, La.
Burnell Taylor is a 19-year-old from New Orleans, La.
Charlie Askew is an awkward 17-year-old from Little Rock, Ark. He has a stunning voice.
Jenny Beth Willis is a young country/gospel singer from Kentucky.
Paul Jolley is a 22-year-old country singer from Palmersville, Tenn.
Shubha Vedula is a 16-year-old from Point Pleasant, Mich.
There are mostly country singers in this group. The judges will be visiting San Antonio in search of more talent on Wednesday.
