'American Idol' 2012: Randy Jackson teases Hollywood Week

On Wednesday night, "American Idol" is set to finally start up Hollywood Week -- and it already appears as though there are going to be some standout performances after a pretty week audition round.

Speaking to TV Guide in a new interview, here is what Randy Jackson had to say about some of the returning singers who are back to give this another shot:

"Every year, if you watch the auditions closely, we say, 'You're not ready yet. Maybe you should come back.' Guess what? This year, a lot of them came back ... They actually listened to us and they came back. They've gotten better or grown... I think that the only edge that they have is that they've been there before... maybe that helps with the nerves a little bit."

Of course, some of these people may also be even more nervous since they know just how difficult this experience can be.
