'American Idol' hopeful Heejun Han not only has a set of pipes to die for but he has a sense of humor that will leave you in stitches. Tonight's 'American Idol' episode centered around the contestants forming groups and learning to work together. Let's just say Heejun and a certain "cowboy" in the group didn't see eye to eye.
The newly formed group is called 'MIT' and consists of four 'American Idol' crooners, Heejun Han, Richie Lawson (Cowboy), Jairon Jackson and Phillip Phillips. Richie appoints himself the group leader and choreographer which sets Heejun off on a hysterical rampage.
Heejun is first dismayed by an intricate set of dance moves that Richie, aka Cowboy, insists the group learn. "That cowboy kid is crazy. I don't know how they do it in Cowboy town but it's not how we break it down man. Cowboy, I don't even know his name. I might go home tomorrow, this is not working out."
Heejun later states, "The war is on with Cowboy."
'American Idol' group member Phillip Phillips had to miss out on the first few hours of rehearsal due to a kidney stone flare up. When Phillip returned he learned of the intricate routine. Four different dance moves, four different harmonization's plus four different facial expressions. Wow, that's a lot to learn in less than 24 hours.
Heejun's take on this turn of events? "Phillip had a kidney stone. Cowboy had a I don't know, a brain stone? I don't know why we can't just keep this simple. I'm afraid all of my friends are going to watch this and laugh at me. All because of this cowboy kid. This is crazy".
It seems that Richie Lawson has given Heejun a bad impression of cowboys because Heejun ended his 'American Idol' tirade with, "Now I have a very bad perspective towards cowboys. Even Dallas Cowboys. Freakin' cowboys."
Final words for 'American Idol' viewers came from MIT group leader, Richie (Cowboy) Lawson, "We're going to do this my way and that's it."
So it looks as if Cowboy won the battle with Heejun Han. Or did he? Watch 'American Idol' group week Wednesday February 15th, at 8/7c on FOX to find out the true winner of the dispute between Heejun and Cowboy.
