American Idol fans are buzzing about Courtney Penry, a 17 year old student from Missouri City, Texas and the unusual talent that she possesses. Penry has the uncanny ability to imitate a chicken. Having lived in Texas all of my life, I have known a chicken imitator or two. Actually my husband is quite good but he can't hold a candle to Courtney Penry, nor is his chicken as hilarious.
During Courtney Penry's interview for American Idol she professed to being in love with host, Ryan Seacrest. Penry thinks he is the sexiest man alive and she plans to marry him one day. Penry shared her feelings for Seacrest with the camera. "Ryan Seacrest will be mine someday. He will love me, because I love you. I've loved you forever. I really can't wait to meet him. Hopefully I won't make a fool out of myself..."
Later Penry imitates a chicken during her American Idol audition. Nothing foolish about a chicken.
Imitating a chicken wasn't Courtney Penry's only talent, she could sing as well. "Stay" by Sugarland was Penry's song choice for her American Idol audition. Randy Jackson was not impressed, he felt she had some bad habits that she needed to work on and voted no. Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez thought Penry had potential and voted her through to Hollywood.
Courtney Penry was so excited she decided to do a little victory dance which soon turned into a chicken dance after a little prompting from the judges. Courtney Penry may not have laid a "golden egg" during her American Idol chicken imitation, but she certainly earned a "golden ticket". Look out Hollywood...and Ryan Seacrest, here she comes.

...had to watch it twice, but the whole thing was a joke... she was in on it! "Acting" crazy etc. Too may kooks on AI for us to spot it or just too subtle? This girl is hilarious! Not crazed.
