The June meeting of the American Hydrogen Association (AHA) is today Thurs. June 12 2014 at 6:00 PM. The Phoenix Alternative Energy meet up group is combining it’s effort with the AHA this month to bring multiple alternative energy forums to the public.

Douglas Hawley at AHA has stated that the AHA meeting is at the regular Denny’s restaurant 6:00 PM Thursday, June 12th at Denny's, 650 N. Scottsdale Rd., in Tempe Arizona. It is North of Tempe Town Lake and just south of Highway 202 at Scottsdale Road on the west side of the street.

Dinner is served prior to the meeting so show up early. This month’s topic is: How can AHA make a viral video on the New AHA and the Hydrogen University? AHA needs lots of assistance with movie production. Besides stars, someone has to locate props and edit everything into something entertaining.

The Phoenix Alternative Energy Meet Up Group is attending and is going to make a presentation about alternative energy during the AHA meeting.

Alternative Energy Meet Up Group/AHA Workshop on Thursday is also presented nationwide as a live interactive “Go To Meeting” seminar and live as a nationwide conference call. In order to access the “Go To Meeting” seminar online visit:

Aside from the Thursday meeting there is also a Saturday meeting involving both groups.

That meeting is centering of the Alternative Energy Group and it is scheduled at 1:30 PM on Saturday June 14 2014 at AHA Headquarters (444 S. Morris, Mesa Az.). Doug Haley from AHA states that: “There will be a hydrogen safety class immediately after the meeting. Attend and get dirty on some projects. The group is going to show off the completion of the work on a solar electrolyzer. Everyone is invited to take a look under the hood of the '79 hydrogen Dodge pickup and to BBQ your lunch on H2.

Doug Hawley says that: “Permaculturist Don Titmus is going to teach a free rain water harvesting class Tuesday, June 17th at 6:30 PM at Preparing Wisely, 144 S. Mesa Dr., Ste. G, Mesa Arizona. 85210.” Ask Don about how it is possible to save the energy that it takes to pump water to your home/business through harvesting rain water at your location.
