On Jan. 10 Inside TV talked with Ryan Murphy, the creator of the "American Horror Story" series, about what fans might expect in the third season. Fans might not know this, but there have been clues to what the third season may be about in the past two episodes.
Murphy says that the hints in the last two episodes have been very subtle so they may not have been noticed. He says that he's been reading up on theories that fans have of what the episode will be about and they've come close but they haven't completely nailed it on the head yet. Next week will be the biggest clue of all.
So far, the only link between both episodes that were both brief and subtle involved the music playing on the jukebox. In the first clue, the jukebox played "I Put a Spell on You" and the second jukebox song was "Love Potion No. 9." It is beginning to seem more and more likely that the theme is going to have something to do with witches, and likely the Salem witch trials. Hopefully, the clue in next week's episode will give a better idea of what an can expect. Surely it will be just as gory and exciting as the bast two seasons.
Fans should tune in on Wednesday on FX to see how the story plays out.
