Now that "AHS: Coven" has ended, fans are anxious to know details about "American Horror Story" season 4. While not too much has been revealed, on Feb. 19, PopSugar did list six things that are known so far about the upcoming season.
The location has been narrowed down to two places: New Orleans or Santa Fe. The last season took place in New Orleans, so chances are that they will pick the new location of Santa Fe for the new season.
The time period
The upcoming season will be set in the 1950s, but the exact years are a bit confusing. Creator Ryan Murphy told Entertainment Weekly that it would be set in 1950 and teased,
"It's set in 1950. If you look historically [at] what happened in the year 1950, there's some more clues in that year. It's a period piece."
Then later he said that it would actually be a combination of two time periods, which the 1950s being the main one. It is possible that the other time period could just be flashbacks, but fans will have to wait to find out for sure.
Jessica Lange will be back and is practicing her German accent, however, the actress did announce that it would be her last season on "American Horror Story." They will also stick with their comedic formula. Murphy explained,
"Next year will be equally as challenging, because so much of it is period and bizarre and crazy and gothic. My feeling is, if you loved this season, you'll love next season. It has the same sort of comedic tone to it."
Fans should not expect the upcoming season to have anything to do with Miss Robichaux's simply because it has already been done. Murphy is sad to say farewell to those characters, but there will be new characters and an exciting story.
