Fans of "American Horror Story" are looking forward to season 4 and finally some details about the upcoming season have been released. On March 24, Entertainment Weekly revealed the title and place as well as a few details about the characters.
There were plenty of "AHS" fans who were predicting that the new season would be some sort of carnival scene and they were right. Season 4 will be titled "American Horror Story: Freak Show" and the setting will be in Florida in the year 1950.
Previous spoilers revealed that Jessica Lange was practicing her German accent, but viewers were confused on the reason. It turns out that her character will be a German ex-pat who will be managing one of the last freak shows in the United States.
As for character details, Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Taissa Farmiga, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett and Frances Conroy will be performers in the freak show that Lange has rescued. Denis O'Hare and Emma Roberts may also return, but that hasn't been confirmed yet.
"American Horror Story: Freak Show" will contain 13 episodes and viewers will watch as they do whatever is necessary to keep their business going.
The fourth season of "AHS" will be the last one that Jessica Lange will appear in. It is not yet known if the series will continue without her or not.
