'American Horror Story' renewed for a fourth season, no set theme yet

FX has announced that they will be renewing "American Horror Story" for a fourth season for 2014 after the high ratings of the third season that began in 2013 and ends this month.

The third season on " American Horror Story" averaged a 7.75 million viewers beating the previous seasons views.

FX has also confirmed that Jessica Lange will return and that most of the previous cast will return. It is rumored that the story may stay in New Orleans or possibly move to Sante Fe.

The first season, American Horror Story: Murder House centered around the theme of infidelity. The second season, American Horror Story: Asylum focused more insamity and this final season, American Horror Story: Coven focused on oppression. There is no set theme for season four yet.

The finale of season three is set to air Jan. 29 and season four to begin next fall.
