"American Horror Story" is getting ready to take fans back in time. The fourth season of the FX series will be set in the 1950s, and fans will see the inner workings of a traveling carnival. On March 31, IGN TV reported on the latest casting news and details for the upcoming season.

Jessica Lange, Angela Bassett, and Kathy Bates are all returning for the new season, but a new man has been cast. Michael Chiklis has been added to the all-star cast. He will play the ex-husband of Bates' character, and he will be the father of Evan Peters' character.

Peters is now set to return to the series as well. This will be his fourth season on the FX series. Gabourey Sidibe and Emma Roberts, who both starred last season, are also set to return to the series, according to Hypable.

This new season will be filmed in New Orleans once again. The city was the location for season three, but season four is actually set in Jupiter, Fl. During season four, Lange's character will face the challenge of keeping her slide show business alive.

Filming for season four is set to start this summer. More additions to the cast from previous seasons are possible. Schedules need to be worked on by former cast members.

What do you think? Who else do you want to see return?
