Season 4 of “American Horror Story” already has fans buzzing about the possibilities. Earlier this year it was revealed that the subtitle would be “Freak Show,” leading to speculation of a three-ring circus. Jessica Lange and Sarah Paulson are both confirmed to return for the next installment. According to a June 12 post from the official “American Horror Story” Facebook page, Sarah Paulson's role has been revealed. Paulson will play Bette and Dot, conjoined twins. Fans are already excited about the role, as is Paulson.

This will be the last installment for Jessica Lange who has held the lead role since the show began airing. Lange's role will require a thick German accent, which has been mentioned over and over again when “American Horror Story" has been talked about. Beside Lange and Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters is also expected to make a return. Fans are hoping that Peters will actually have an important role in the story this year because they were disappointed with his silence during Season 3.

Twitter has been buzzing all day about the announcement of Sarah Paulson's character. The hashtag “AHSFreakShow” is continuously getting new tweets about Bette and Dot. Paulson is a very talented actress and will be more than able to pull this off. Fans are excited to see how the idea of conjoined twins is going to work, especially with this show.

The official premiere date for Season 4 of “American Horror Story” is October 15. The “Freak Show” will feature clowns and other various weird things visitors would expect to see when going to a place like this. With it being the last year for Jessica Lange to be on the show, fans are expecting something spectacular. As the date draws near, viewers are getting more excited about the concept of the show and want to learn as much as they can before it airs.
