“American Horror Story” is one of the most anticipated shows of the year. Since coming on the scene four years ago, the viewership has grown significantly. Earlier this year it was announced that “Freak Show” would be the subtitle for the upcoming season. Several of the actors from previous installments will be returning to collaborate on the newest one. According to an August 20 report from E! Online, “American Horror Story: Freak Show” will premiere on October 8. Fans are excited that it will be airing in less than two months.

Jessica Lange has been the leading lady in every season, and “American Horror Story: Freak Show” will be no different. This will be the final character Lange will play in the franchise as she announced she will not be returning for another installment. This time Lange will be playing Elsa Mars, the owner of the “freak show” which lands in Jupiter, Florida. Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson will also be joining Lange on the journey as they have in the previous three seasons.

There is a new teaser for “American Horror Story: Freak Show” which was revealed today as well. It is creepy, especially since fans are trying to figure out who or what the hand belongs to. The expectations for this season are incredibly high. A terrifying clown was mentioned by Ryan Murphy a few weeks ago. There will be conjoined twins, and the world's smallest woman joined the cast recently as well.

Most of the major details surrounding “American Horror Story: Freak Show” are still being kept under lock and key. As the weeks pass and the premiere date gets closer more information will be revealed. Many fans are looking forward to seeing what the costumes are going to look like and what the story line will be. October 8 is fast approaching, so make sure you mark your calendars!
