“American Horror Story: Coven” is twisted and sometimes distasteful. There have been molestation scenes between a mother and son, beastiality with the minotaur, and several racial scenes and remarks. The stories are loosely based on New Orleans history, which intrigues a lot of viewers. According to an article posted October 31 by E! Online, the most upsetting part about “American Horror Story: Coven” is the fact that the writers killed off Madison Montgomery, played by Emma Roberts.
Madison Montgomery was the famous Hollywood starlet who loved boys and the fast life. She knew that Zoe had resurrected Kyle, and assisted in piecing together his “perfect” body. Fans can’t understand why “American Horror Story: Coven” writers would kill off a character with such potential. Fiona believed that Madison was the supreme, but her death was all in vain. Fans found out that Madison had a heart murmur, which would have prevented her from being the supreme. Apparently Fiona had no idea because she looked shocked when it was revealed.
For now Madison will be propped up in Spalding’s room at the tea party, deader than ever. As fans know, nothing is what it seems when it comes to “American Horror Story: Coven.” Perhaps Madison will be revived by Zoe, or Fiona herself. There are still plenty of episodes left before the season ends, and more crazy events are sure to occur.
