'American Horror Story: Asylum' star Jennifer Lange gives spoilers (Video)

On Jan. 2 Jessica Lange called into Huffington Post about tonight's episode, the first one since the winter break. Lange plays Sister Jude who started the season as a sadistic matron of Briarcliff, a live in mental institution. Then she became a patient after one of the sisters snapped and starting teaming up with one of the doctors, a former SS scientist.

Jessica says that in the first season back, fans will get to see Sister Jude's breaking point. She has reached the edge of her sanity, then a musical song and dance break out while she is dressed like Dusty Springfield. In the last episode before the winter break, Sister Jude enters the rec room as a patient for the first time, when she sees Lana, she promises to get her out of the hospital no matter what. Jessica says that when she found out that the hospital, monsignor, and the church in general had used her for their own gains, she is mad and she snaps.

She also says that when filming, she had no idea what was going to happen with the characters. It's all about the journey and everyone has to go along on the ride. She wasn't aware that the girl she ran over at the beginning of the season, the girl that caused her to become a nun, was actually alive and well the whole time.

It sure sounds like it will be a great episode and fans can't wait to have an "American Horror Story: Asylum" back in its regular night and time.
