On Jan. 3 CNN Marquee shares the possible meaning of Death taking two main characters in the hit FX show "American Horror Story: Asylum". In the episode, the monsignor finally does away with Sister Mary Eunice as well as the devil reincarnate that has been living inside her while she tends to the mental institution-- Briarcliff. While her death looks peaceful, it likely is because she finally escapes her own torment of sharing her body with the evil entity that has forced her to do evil acts and team up with Dr. Arden, the deranged SS scientist that has been experimenting on patients by injecting them syphilis and other nasty diseases in hopes of mutating them to survive any disaster.
Not only will the death of Sister Mary Eunice and Dr. Arden mean the death of two plot lines that have been carrying the show, but we will finally get to see the story of Thredson AKA Bloody Face flourish. In a teaser for next week's episode, Sister Jude tells the Mother that Lana needs to be let out because she put her there and it was a mistake. The problem now comes to who will be running the asylum since the monsignor is still ill and Sister Jude is still a patient. Thredson is a likely possibility, but surely the monsignor will see that once he takes more of an interest in Lana, whom is carrying his rape baby.
Hopefully fans will get to see more of the alien plot line now that Pepper has declared that she is Grace's guardian and that the aliens are watching. We already know from a past episode that Bloody Face Jr. will live, but that doesn't mean that Thredson will.
With only three episodes left of the season, it is likely that the show is about to become more insanely intense. Will you be watching?
