On this episode, Kit will learn news about his wife, and Dr, Thredson will also receive an unexpected visitor. The monsignor will also try to silence Jude. Jessica Lange plays Jude, and the character was shown singing in the last episode. Lange spoke about the performance in a new interview. She said the following, according to Vulture:
"Well, I had said to him early on — because we did that one little flashback of a musical number establishing that she had been a singer in a band in the forties — I said, 'Let me do one more number. Just because everything we do is so grim.' It’s so much fun to sing even though I’m not a singer. So he said all right, and then out of the blue came this."
The episode also saw the death of Lily Rabe's character. The monsignor pushed Sister Mary Eunice off a staircase. Entertainment Weekly asked the actress about her character's death, and she said the following:
"Well, it’s sort of part of being on this show is you know sort of toward the end of this season there’s a high likelihood that’s gonna happen. Then I did know when that was going to happen as things moved along. It wasn’t toward later I knew when and how because it wasn’t all known early on."
The actress also revealed that she did her own stunts during her character's death scene. Fans are buzzing about this series on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
I'm convinced the actors have to be crazy to be on #AmericanHorrorStory
