American Girl has a new Girl of the Year. Isabelle is a dancer whose story is told through a new three-book series, but St. Louis kids can learn more about Isabelle with some fun, in-store events.

On February 21at 5:30 p.m., the American Girl doll store at Chesterfield Mall will host Isabelle’s Celebration. This event requires reservations in advance and girls who attend will be delighted to learn about Isabelle over dinner, make a craft, and get an American Girl book to take home. The cost of the dinner is $28 and reservations can be made for girls ages 8 and up by calling 877-247-5223.

In March and April, girls can learn even more about Isabelle as they collect fun facts about her during the in-store Scavenger Hunts. The scavenger hunts take place from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.*, on the following dates:

March 4
March 11
*March 18 - On this date, the event takes place from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
March 25
April 1
April 8
April 15
April 22
April 29

No reservations are necessary for the scavenger hunts, but girls must be 8 years or older. All girls participating will get an American Girl poster to take home.
