American flag retirement ceremony to take place on Sunday at Flag Pole Hill

The Patriot Guard Riders have put out a call to invite motorcyclists to join them on Sunday, November 6 at 1p at Flag Pole Hill for a retirement ceremony honoring American flags and to commemorate the upcoming Veteran's Day.

Working with the Dallas Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, Jeanette Prasifka, and OldWornFlag.com, the PGR will stand tall at the public flag retirement ceremony.  Volunteers will help appropriately dismantle and burn old flags in accordance with official etiquette.

There is a slight 10% chance for rain on Sunday afternoon; the heavy perceptiation should not hit the area until closer to dusk.

Flag Pole Hill is located at 8100 Doran Circle, Dallas, 75238.
