'American Chopper's' Paul Jr.: 'I can't believe the way I'm being portrayed'

"American Chopper" co-star Paul Teutul Jr. is apparently unhappy with a promo currently airing on the Discovery Network.

The promo is for the upcoming episode of "American Chopper: Senior Vs. Junior" and centers on the death of the mother of Paul Teutul Sr. The editing of the commercial implies that Paul Junior refused to speak to his estranged father after he learned his grandmother had died and that he also did not attend her funeral.

On Saturday evening, Paul Jr. tweeted this message voicing his thoughts on the promo:

I want to thank everyone for their condolences for the passing of Grandma Helen. We loved her very much and we will miss her. Unfortunately, I can't believe the way I am being portrayed or that I even have to defend myself, but I can assure you that myself and my entire family paid our respects to Grandma Helen by attending her services.

I have reached out to Discovery for a comment but at the time of this report have not received a response.
