A new season brings new adventures for Montana boy Casey Anderson, who is not afraid to get in the middle of a herd of cattle or in front of a mountain lion in search of its next prey. Casey is on a mission to track down wildlife roaming mountains, jungles and deserts. His quest takes him from Canada’s wild West Coast to the scorching New Mexican desert, to learn how animals adapt and survive in their sometimes brutal and unforgiving ecosystems.
"Monster Wolf," the first episode of the season finds Casey in Canada studying the many types of wolf breeds wandering the land to determine if a particularly aggressive breed of wolves are considered pure wolves.
"Mountain Lion vs. Bighorn Sheep" premieres on Aug. 25.. Casey is in the barren desert Southwest trying to save fragile populations of bighorn sheep from predatory mountain lions. Casey pushes through thorny cactus and rugged terrain to stop the mountain lion, a predator he loves, from devastating fragile populations of bighorn sheep. The bighorn sheep are trying to reclaim the range, but are threatened by mountain lions. Casey works to collar pregnant bighorns to help track the mother when she gives birth, hoping to collar the lambs and monitor the population. The newborn lambs are most vulnerable to predators, so Casey races against time to reach them within 48 hours of their birth to keep them alive. And, he’s not there to share a s’more!
