The CW has decided to move up the premiere of America’s Next Top Model cycle 21 to Aug. 18 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT, rather than the original premiere date of Aug. 22. There will be two broadcasts per week for the first six weeks, with the original episode airing on Mon. nights at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT, and an encore broadcast airing on Fri. nights at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. Starting on Oct. 3, the episodes will return to the original Fri. night timeslot at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Cycle 21 will once again (as it did in Cycle 20) feature seven men and seven women models competing for the title of “America’s Next Top Model.” The judging panel consists of Tyra, along with PR maven, Kelly Cutrone, and this Cycle brings back the loveable runway coach extraordinaire, J. Alexander as the third judge. A new face this Cycle is highly sought-after photographer Yu Tsai, who will step in as creative consultant.

The fans once more will be the fourth judge, as photos of each of the contestant’s photo shoots were published on the internet during the taping earlier this year, for fan comments via videos and posts. Some of those will be shown during the judging sequence each episode, and given a score, which combined with the model’s challenge score and judge’s score will determine who goes home.

The contestants who have already been eliminated will have the opportunity to return to the competition via votes on their photo shoot pictures, which will allow the fans the chance to save their favorite model.

The winner of “America’s Next Top Model” this Cycle will receive a modeling contract with Next Model Management, a $100,000 modeling campaign with GUESS, along with a fashion feature in Nylon magazine.
