'America's Next Top Model' Lisa D'Amato damages face in accident

Lisa D'Amato suffered major injuries on the face after a freak accident in Colorado. The winner of "America’s Next Top Model" was on the set of a movie. E! Online broke the news on Jan. 24.

D'Amato appears to have several injuries on her face. Places include her forehead, lips and chin. She reportedly took a fall after doing a handstand.

Lisa told People Magazine that she was goofing around with the cast on set. That's when she performed a handstand against a crew member and fell. She landed on her face. A crew member fell on top of her, causing the injuries.

The top model causes the incident a "freak accident." She admitted that she was doing back flips and other stunts off the balcony.

Lisa D'Amato is on the set of the movie "Cowboys and Indians." The 32-year-old posted pictures of her injuries on Instagram and Twitter. Lisa has been recovering from her fall. She joked that she didn't like her nose that much, even though it gave her character.
