This week's episode of "America's Next Top Model," after a two-week wait, we will find out which male model will be returning to the competition. The models will be challenged to do some crazy stuff in a video shoot challenge, and they'll go back to high school, where they will show off their flaws in a "Flawsome" photo shoot.
We start the episode in the judging room where we finally find out which male model will return. Mike is revealed to have the lowest score, so it is between Jeremy and recently eliminated Phil. And, when the social media scores are revealed, it's Jeremy who will return.
The models return home to see Chris's winning photo. If you've forgotten in the past two weeks which photo that was, it was the one laying in the grass that had a twilight sort of feel to it.
In the confessional, Chris remembers that Renee said that if a guy won best picture, she wouldn't talk for a week. In her confessional, she says that Chris is immature and she doesn't care what he has to say, and he needs to get out of her way. Wow, way to back out of a promise, huh?
Now, it's time for Chris to choose who will share the Tyra Suite and the Guess closet with him. Being that they're very close, you would probably assume that he would pick Nina, only he doesn't. He picks Alex, since she has never had the chance to be in the Tyra Suite. Nina looks super peeved, but says she doesn't care, and she will be able to concentrate more on the competition now.
Alex reveals in a confessional that she has a medical condition that causes her heart to race, and it causes her not to get enough oxygen to her brain, so she's afraid that it could cause her to pass out. What?? Why do I feel like she's going to have some fainting spell or something come on now that she's revealed this?
In the kitchen, Nina, Jourdan and Jeremy are chatting, and Jourdan reveals that she's not happy that Jeremy is back, because being around him bugs her. Jeremy reveals that he used to have a crush on Jourdan, but now he knows she's not his type at all
The next day, the models pile into the bus and head down to the Siren Studios, where they meet with Kelly Cutrone, who says they will be auditioning for a commercial directed by Vincent St. George. The product is a drink called Quaff, and they'll be working with a green screen behind them.
The models each come out and are asked to do some crazy things with the props, like a stuffed camel head that they have to reach inside its mouth. Some have to kiss a unicorn head and be showered while standing in a small wading pool.
Both Jourdan and Alex do very well. Chris has some problems, and Renee reveals she has a fear of things in a suit, or disguised as something else. (Remember, she was also afraid of clowns a few episodes ago. Of course, clowns wear a suit, so I'm guessing it was the same fear here.) Because of this, Renee has problems with her audition.
After everyone was finished auditioning, everyone gathers around to find out who got the part. Kelly then reveals that Vincent St. George is actually comedienne Reggie Watts, and the challenge was to find out how well the models would take direction on the set. It's down to Jourdan and Alex for the win, and Jourdan is the winner.
And the challenge scores are as follows:
Chris is disappointed with his score, and he decides to do some cleaning in the kitchen. Apparently, the models are a bunch of slobs, and Chris decides to call out Renee for leaving her dishes in the sink. He puts her dishes on the counter and leaves her a note to please wash her dishes. The note also included some of the other girls, but Renee gets all huffy at being called out, and says she will not be washing the dishes, and it can sit there forever for all she cares.
The argument escalates, with Jourdan adding her two cents, and then Jeremy standing up for Chris verbally attacks Jourdan. It's all a big mess, and everyone goes off to other rooms. Cory plays peacemaker, and says that they should all apologize. Later Jourdan apologizes to Jeremy and Chris, and Jeremy apologizes to Jourdan, but Renee isn't offering any apologies to anyone. Wow, what a DIVA!
The next day, the models are taken to Birmingham High School, where they meet Johnny. They'll be doing their next photo shoot there. Soon after Johnny greets the models, Tyra arrives. She talks about flaws, and points out her own flaw of having a really high forehead, which she calls her "five head." She gives another example of a model taking a flaw and making it awesome, or "flawsome," as Cindy Crawford and her mole.
The models will each be given a specific flaw, and they'll have to rock it. But, they won't be posing alone. They'll be posing with male supermodel Shaun Ross, who has his own flaw of being albino. But, that's not all. They'll also be posing with Disney Star Zendaya. The photographer for the shoot is Sarah Silver, who also photographed the models this Cycle in the sexy fierce shoot.
Cory gets a widows peak. The comment Johnny has for him is that he's a little "too" fierce, so he has to relax. He rocks it.
Renee gets a high forehead. Sarah is really impressed with Renee's taking directions and running with it.
Don's flaw is his skinny legs, which are further spotlighted with his pink skinny jeans. He's spinning a basketball on one finger in his shot, and he looks great.
Chris's flaw is a gap in his teeth. He has trouble focusing on showing the gap and getting a good pose.
Jeremy's flaw is duck lips. Johnny is not happy. Sounds like Jeremy might be in the bottom this week.
Marvin's flaw is a mole. He's worried that he won't be able to stand out in the shot. We don't hear too much feedback from Johnny.
Jourdan's flaw is a unibrow. During her shoot, she has to poor a science experiment of vinegar into a glass, causing a reaction, but during her shoot, Jeremy enters the room, and Jourdan is distracted.
Alexandra's flaw is having big hips. She has a problem with posing, without looking too posed. She also admits she's not feeling overly great. It's not looking good for her.
Nina's flaw is big eyes. She started out having a problem showing her eyes without looking possessed.
After the shoot, the models head home, and are greeted by the elimination skull mail.
"Tomorrow you will meet with the judges. Only 8 of you will continue on in the hopes of becoming America's Next Top Model."
At panel, the judges critique the photos.
First up is Cory. Tyra thinks Cory looks crazy amazing. Kelly isn't impressed. Cory does well with social media.
Jourdan is next. Rob thinks she looks like she's posing too much. Kelly doesn't think her legs look good. Tyra thinks she missed the mark. BryanBoy says that she has consistent social media scores.
Next is Marvin. Kelly thinks this looks like a Guess ad, and that Marvin looks like the tough kid at school who isn't going to be bullied. Rob thinks he looks like a little kid. Tyra loves his face, but thinks he needs to work on his face.
Chris is next. Rob thinks his mouth looks too tight. The rest of his body looks really relaxed. Kelly says she kind of likes the shot. BryanBoy says he doesn't have as good a photo as he did the previous week, but the fans still love him.
Next is Don. Rob thinks he looks great, and he's selling the pants. Tyra likes that he's giving a side tilt to his face, and he looks beautiful.
Jeremy is next. Rob thinks Jeremy needs to mix up his poses. He always does a straight on look, and it just looks the same. Tyra thinks he looked stunning, as does Kelly.
Nina is next. Kelly loves her eyes, her body, everything about her. Rob thinks she's definitely working her flaws. Nina is queen of social media according to BryanBoy.
Next is Alex. Rob thinks that Alex isn't working with her flaw. Kelly thinks it just looks like "big-ass hips and no modeling." Tyra thinks Alex looks like Alex's mom in the picture. Ouch! BryanBoy says that social media brought her back into the competition, but this week they abandoned her. He comments on her lack of energy. Alex admits to not feeling well, and feeling really dizzy.
Renee is next. Kelly says she looks better in her photo than she does in person. Tyra is proud. BryanBoy says that social media isn't too thrilled.
As the models are standing there waiting for their scores, Alex leaves the room and goes to a back room to lay down.
The scores are tallied up and the call-outs are as follows.
The bottom two are Chris and Alexandra (who is still laying down in another room.) The judges feel that Alex is a beautiful girl, but sometimes she takes a high fashion pictures and sometimes she's just a pretty girl. The judges think that Chris is inconsistent in his photos. So, who is going to Bali and who is going home? Poor Alex will be leaving once more, and Chris will be joining the other six models to travel to Bali.
Alex is still laying in the back room, and Ken Mok, the producer of the show came in to tell her that she was in the bottom two with Chris, and she was eliminated.
Next week, the models finally make it to Bali, where they take in their new digs, and they have a runway under the sea. Wow! We also see a disagreement between Marvin and Renee. Oh oh. I'm guessing there will be no more cuddling in bed together now.
Tune in on Oct. 11 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW to find out what happens next.
