America’s Next Top Model” will return once more for its 21st cycle this summer, and there will be a familiar face that has been missing for several cycles. Fan favorite, runway coach extraordinaire J Alexander, a.k.a. “Miss J” will be back as part of the judging panel.

"His name says it all. I've missed ‘Miss J.’ and am elated he's back,” said executive producer Tyra Banks in a press release. “I know ‘Top Model’ fans will rejoice!”

PR maven Kelly Cutrone will also return, and along with Tyra herself, they will make up the judging panel. No mention of Rob Evans, Johnny Wujek or BryanBoy for this coming cycle. It was announced that photographer Yu Tsai will be the new creative consultant, so looks like Johnny is definitely out.

While BryanBoy doesn’t look to be returning, the format of the show will continue with fans being able to weigh in on what they think of the weekly photo shoots, and actual voting will begin on Feb. 20 at, and will continue with the following voting dates: Feb. 23, Feb. 27, March 2, March 5, March 8, March 12, March 15, March 22, March 25, March 28 and April 1. The contestants who have already been eliminated will have the opportunity to return to the competition via votes on their photo shoot pictures, which will allow the audience the chance to save their favorite model.

The format will also continue with both guys and girls, namely 7 guys and 7 girls. The winner of cycle 21 will receive a modeling contract with Next Model Management, $100,000 national ad campaign with GUESS and a fashion feature in Nylon Magazine.

The exact date for the premiere hasn’t been announced, but as soon as I know something, I’ll be posting about it here.
