I missed episode 3 of 'America's Next Top Model', but Lulu was sent home for not bringing the fire. So, here's the recap on what went down on Episodes 4 & 5. On episode 4, the girls met with Sam Fine to learn some makeup techniques. Then, they went to their challenge. They had to race to different stations inside a Wal-Mart. The first station was a jeans and t-shirt station, then a shoes station, then a make-up station and finally a photo station. Each station had a limited number of items so everyone wasn't guaranteed a spot. Only 4 girls were still in the race as they headed for the photo station. Erin was fighting hard for her spot. She was throwing elbows, pulling people back, and at the photo station she held on to Ashley's photo to gain a little advantage. So, the last 3 girls in the race were Bianca, Sundai, and Erin. Erin was fighting hard, but it was Sundai who ultimately won.
At the photo shoot, the girls posed in scarves. They also learned that one girl would find out she was safe at the end of the shoot. That girl was Brittany. She had the best photo and would live to see another week. At panel, the bottom 2 girls were Ashley and Bianca. Honestly, Ashley probably won't make it in the competition because she didn't fight her way in. Tyra chose her while she was sitting in the audience at the 'Tyra Show', but Ashley lived to see another week and Bianca was given the boot. It's about time! Bianca's attitude sucked from day one. 
On episode 5, there were only 9 girls remaining and the girls got dance lessons from Benny Ninja, Lil' Mama, and the Jabberwockies. The girls were broken into 3 teams and they had to perform a dance displaying 3 different emotions - happy, sad, and angry. Team 1 was Jennifer, Kara, and Rae. Team 2 was Laura, Brittany, and Sundai. Team 3 was Erin, Ashley, and Nicole. Even though Ashley had a dance background her team struggled. Team 1 was the winner and received $17,000 in jewelry as their prize.
For their photo shoot the girls flew to Las Vegas for a Cirque de Soleil inspired shoot and they again had to practice some team work. Team 1 was Jennifer, Brittany, and Rae. Jennifer struggled to elongate her body while the other girls seemed to do a great job. The second group was Sundai, Erin, and Nicole. Sundai made herself look confident and tall, but Nicole was having trouble with the shoot. Mr. Jay said she wasn't terrible, but she wasn't "amazing." The third group was Laura, Ashley, and Kara. Ashley continued to struggle and Mr. Jay said Kara wasn't "memorable."
At judging, Tyra said Jennifer, Nicole, and Ashley were the weakest of their respective groups. Luckily for Jennifer the rest of her group was strong and they earned best photo of the week. The bottom two girls were Ashley and Kara and no brainer Ashley was eliminated. Only 8 girls remain and the next episode is all about go-sees!
