America's Next Top Model - Cycle 17 - All-Stars - Episode 1 recap - National America's Next Top Model

America's Next Top Modelis back with an All-Star cycle of past favorites competing to be America's Next Top Model All-Star.

We start with the girls arriving at the home that will be where the All-Stars will reside during the competition. First to arrive is Angelea, from Cycle 14, who is still claiming to be ghetto, but she's classy ghetto. She grabs a glass of champagne from the male server, and is soon met by sweet country girl from the petite cycle, Laura. They hug hello, and a few minutes later they are joined by Bianca, from Cycle 9. Angelea interviews that she has a feeling that the one person that she's going to get into it with will be Bianca.

Crazy Lisa from Cycle 5 arrives next, and Bianca interviews that she isn't sure about Lisa, as she remembers that Lisa peed in a diaper on the show. She doesn't think she wants to have anything to do with Lisa.

Bre, who is also from Cycle 5 is next to arrive, and Bianca doesn't look happy. Apparently, Bre and Bianca were roommates, and Bre never told Bianca that she was part of the All-Star cycle. Bianca is very peeved.

Brittany from Cycle 4 arrives and instantly gravitates to Lisa, whom she gives a big hug.

Dominique from Cycle 10 is next to arrive, and she goes over to chat with the girls, telling everyone she just had a baby girl two months ago, and she named her Bre.

Sexy Sheena from Cycle 11, pops in, pulling her rolling bag with her. Isis, who was also from Cycle 11, arrives, giving Sheena a hug. Isis is the first trans-gendered contestant, and since she was on the show, she's had her re-assignment surgery, so she's all woman now.

Everyone's favorite lesbian contestant, Kayla, from Cycle 15 is next to arrive. No longer the hot redhead from her Cycle, she's now sporting a long dark hairstyle.

Doe-eyed Allison arrives next, and she looks exactly like she did on Cycle 12. Both Angelea and Bianca look at a poster of Camille from Cycle 2, and Bianca admits that she doesn't want to see her.

Camille is the diva, and when she arrives, she kind of gets the cold shoulder from the girls. Shannon from Cycle 1 comes in next. She's known as the girl that doesn't want to pose nude. Lastly, Alexandria from the most recent Cycle 16 arrives. The girls don't really react much to her either.

As everyone has arrived, the girls are met with a Tyra mail!

"Welcome back Top Model All Stars! You know y'all want the best bed… so go get it! Fierce and Love, Tyra"

With that, the girls all take off up the stairs to claim their beds. Naturally Lisa and Brittany pick a room together, and Lisa remarks that they're gonna get in so much trouble.

Downstairs, Mr. Jay arrives and calls the girls down to talk to them. He tells them that their first photo shoot is going to be shot in their backyard. The photographer is Celeste Canino. Mr. Jay says the theme of the shoot is that each girl will be styled as bigger-than-life versions of their ANTM personas.

As the girls go off to hair and makeup, Bianca has her first diva moment, as she is being styled with long red extensions woven into her dark hair. She is totally not loving them.

When she does her shoot, the photographer isn't impressed, saying that her shoot felt amateurish.

Allison is next, and the photographer seems a little happier with her, but she doesn't say a whole lot. Allison was dressed like a baby doll, with a big lollypop.

We see clips of Bre, Dominique and Camille's photo shoots, and then Kayla's shoot. Brittany tries to exude her inner-party girl in her shoot. Laura's shoot involves her posing as a country girl with a fishing pole. Alexandria poses like she's surfing. This is supposed to be her tough California girl look. Isis poses in a bikini in her shoot, and Sheena's persona is Harlem but not hoochie.Angelea gives her "that bitch" look, and the photographer is impressed. Lisa is in a bikini in the hot tub with bubbles.

Time for some more drama, as Shannon talks with the stylist about what they want her to wear for her angelic shoot. They want her in underwear, and she has a bathing suit underneath. She agrees to wear the top, but not the lacy boy panties, cuz she feels it's something you wear under clothes, and she doesn't model underwear. Mr. Jay tries to tell her that the swimsuit is showing more than the panties ever would, but Shannon holds her ground.

After everyone is done with their shoot, Mr. Jay tells them that their photos will be critiqued by the judges, but there is a little twist as well. They are going to have the judging live at Nokia Plaza, with tons of their fans. The guest judge is Nicki Minaj.

At Nokia Plaza, the Jays greet the fans and then introduce each of the girls who will come up on the stage and stand before the judges to be critiqued.

Lisa is first out, and the fans give her a good reception. Nicki Minaj didn't like her shoulder hunch, but other than that she thinks Lisa rocked it.

Allison is next, and both Nigel and ALT like how she is dressed. When viewing her photo, Nigel is impressed, saying that Allison has always been one of the most photogenic girls. Nicki says that she would stop on that page in a magazine.

Angelea is next, and she comes out with a mix of her club walk and a bit of the Hammer dance thrown in for good measure. In critiquing her photo, Nicki loves her photo, and ALT says that he likes both what she's wearing now and in the photo. He says she's portraying hood, but it's Beverly Hood.

Camille is next, and she is portraying the diva. Nigel comments that he can see the softer side in the photo, and he likes it.

Next up is Dominique, Her photo portrays both her masculine and feminine sides. Nigel says he doesn't see the masculine at all. He loves the shot. Nicky thinks it looks sexy to a man and to a woman.

Shannon comes out to some applause, and she's happy that people remember her. ALT thinks the photo embodies innocence, but also confidence.

Alexandria is next, and she is actually booed by some people in the crowd, and one guy called her a bitch. I felt so bad for her to have to suffer people acting like that to her.

When Nicki critiques her photo, she says she doesn't love it at all, and thinks it doesn't even look like her. Nigel says the shot doesn't do anything for him either, and he knows she can take good pictures.

Sheena is next to come out. Tyra loves Sheena's jumpsuit, as does ALT. Nicki says she doesn't believe her in the photo, and thinks it looks amateur.

Brittany is next, and she greets the crowd by screaming "Brittany's back!" Nicki critiques the photo saying she'd like to see more extension on the leg.

Isis is next, and Tyra mentions about her having her surgery to become a full woman. Isis turns around for the cheering crowd asking "How does it look you guys?" Nicki critiques the photo saying it looks like she's not even putting any pressure on her arms to hold herself up. I think it looks Photoshopped, and I would know, since it's my job to retouch photos at work.

Bianca is next, and Nigel critiques her photo saying it almost looks like a vintage picture. ALT on the other hand thinks it looks TOO vintage.

Bre is next, and Tyra remarks that she knows Bre has been doing a lot of modeling lately. Nicki asks her why she cut her hair, and Bre says that the paycheck looked good. In critiquing her photo ALT says he thinks it looks cliché;

Next is Kayla. They critique her photo as a "super gay," and ALT says he loves the photo but hates the fist. Nicki loves the dress and the shoes, but nothing else about it.

Laura is next. Tyra tells Nicki that she should ask Laura how she can get a dress just like the one she's wearing. Laura explains that it's created by her grandma Wanda Sue. ALT critiques her photo saying that she takes "Hee Haw" and makes it high fashioned. And he loves the dress from the house of Wanda Sue.

Tyra then addresses all 14 of the girls, saying that the judges will be critiquing their photos, but they will also take into consideration how the audience responded to them. Oh oh, that doesn't sound like it will be a good thing for Alexandria, with all the negative attention she got. They will be judging them in private, but Mr. And Miss Jay will be polling the fans for their favorite models.

The judges deliberate and then call the girls in. Tyra talks about the prizes, which this Cycle will include: a spread in Italian Vogue and a cover and spread in Beauty in Vogue, and a special blog on the Vogue website. They'll get to be a celebrity correspondent with Extra, and have a national campaign with Express, and get the $100,000 contract with Cover Girl.

In the bottom two are: Brittany and Alexandria. The judges love Brittany's photo, but when the audience was polled, most people didn't remember her. With Alexandria, they either loved or hated her. Who is staying? Alexandria will stay. Brittany will be packing her bags and going home.

Next week, the girls are having issues with each other, and someone needs an ambulance called. OMG! And, you can look forward to the ever popular makeovers. Which girls will take to their new looks, and which will have meltdowns? Stay tuned next Wednesday, September 21st at 9:00 pm on The CW.
