Last week on America's Next Top Model the girls learned the importance of creating chemistry in a teach with Nigel Barker. They took their skills and used them in a photo shoot with comedian Ross Matthews, where Jessica proved to be the winner.
Later, they went to Canal Street and had a photo shoot using all "fake" materials. Jessica once again came out on top, while Tatianna and Alexandra ended up in the bottom two, with Tatianna packing her bags and going home. Who will be eliminated this week? Read on to find out.
In the limo ride home from panel, Angelea interviews that she has received the second place callout twice now, and she needs to do something different. She says, "I'm gonna take these bitches out. That's what I'm gonna do." Alasia, on the other hand interviews that she has always had problems with self-esteem, but she's not going to let anyone stand in her way to reach her dreams. Krista interviews that there are two distinct groups in the house, Angelea, Anslee, Alasia and herself, who she calls the "real" people in the house, and then there is Brenda, Raina and Jessica, who are the type of people who "need" each other. She says they don't all get along at all. (Funny to note that Alexandra isn't mentioned as being part of either group. Does that mean she is off on her own with no friends?)
Upon arriving at the model house, Jessica is practicing her runway walk, giving sexy looks and poses. She interviews how it was so cool to get best picture of the week, and we see her photo from last week displayed as digital art with the caption: "Dynamite -- photographs like a dream." Angelea on the other hand seems to be over Jessica, who she says thinks she can do no wrong. She decides to stir up some trouble, asking Raina and Brenda, "So, how does it feel like being in the bottom?" They decide to just ignore her. Brenda interviews, "I'll be damned if I let someone like Angelea beat me in this competition." Angelea is loving stirring up trouble.
Time for the first Tyra mail!
"When u walk in, u might have a fit. Love, Tyra"
The next day, everyone is getting ready, and Jessica tells Alasia that she has 7 or 8 minutes to finish getting ready. Alasia is just stepping into the shower, and she interviews that she knows she's running late, but she's not skipping her shower. In the end, the girls end up waiting for her and are late to arrive at their first destination, which is Seventeen magazine, where they meet Miss J and Seventeen's editor-in-chief, Ann Shoket. Miss J asks whose fault it is that they are late. Alasia admits that it was her, and tells him that her alarm didn't go off, and she didn't take a shower the previous day, so she didn't want to skip one again today. Miss J tells her to take her showers at night.
Ann tells them that their next teach will help them to look like a model all the time. She says there's thousands of girls that come through the doors of Seventeen magazine on go-sees, and some of them stand out like models while others don't. She goes on to talk about body shapes, and how it is important to know what your body shape is, and to dress for your particular shape.
After the teach, Ann tells the girls to pick out some clothes from the Seventeen magazine fashion closet, and they have 5 minutes to put together a look that compliments their style, and their body type. Brenda has some trouble knowing where her waist is. Ann loves Angelea's look, and the flats she's wearing. She also points out that Alasia looks great as well, but that she's standing under the wrong body type. She isn't short torso, but she's curvy. Alasia interviews that she didn't know that she was considered curvy. She always thought that she was skinny. After Ann talks to the girls, she gives them the delightful news that they get to keep the clothes they picked out. Wow, nice!
On the limo ride home, once again, there is a lot of bickering as Jessica tells Alasia not to talk when she's talking. This sets Alasia off, and there is another screaming match. Angelea and Brenda also get into it over Brenda's remark that Angelea sounds uneducated. I am so over all the fighting in the house. This is probably one of the worst cycles for all the friction between the girls. Let's see some modeling!
And, it's time for Tyra mail!
"DING DONG"

Mr. Jay with Tinsley Mortimer
© The CW
And, the doorbell rings. A girl comes in from the elevator with an invitation from Tinsley Mortimer, who is launching her new handbag collection. Oooh, everyone is so excited. The girls get all dolled up and take the limo to the party, where they meet Mr. Jay, who tells them this is a challenge. Each of them will have one-on-one time with Tinsley, and she will judge them based on their style and personality.
Alasia interviews that she is worried, because she doesn't know how to act around industry people.
We see the girls being photographed on the red carpet. Brenda interviews that she is thrilled to be there, because she goes to those types of parties all the time. Jay has to tell Alasia to go mingle, and she tells him that she doesn't know what to say. She interviews that she's from Marietta, Georgia, and everyone kind of knows everyone else back home. She says it's hard to be around new people.
Jessica is the first to meet with Tinsley, who asks her why she picked out what she is wearing tonight. Jessica tells her that they just got back from a teach telling them how to dress for their figure, and because she has a long torso, she wore something that cut it off. Tinsley then asks her which one of her bags is her favorite. Jessica tells her that she especially liked the little green clutch with the ruffles.
Anslee talks with Tinsley, saying that her favorite designer is Coco Chanel, because she likes classic things. Tinsley then decides to test Anslee, asking if she knew who was doing Chanel's line now, and Anslee didn't know who that was. Tinsley tells her that it's Lagerfeld, and that she should learn all the designers if she wants to be a model. Ouch. That was snippy of Tinsley.
Brenda chats with Tinsley next, saying that her all-time favorite designer is Michael Kors. Tinsley talks with Raina, saying she loves the dress she picked out. Later, when she talks with Alasia, and you can tell that Alasia is super nervous, flipping her hair around as she talked about loving Louis V bags, and really liking the colors, even though she can't afford them, she remarks that she enjoys looking at them. Then, she says, "Is this when I get up and leave now?" Oh boy!
Time to find out what Tinsley thought of the girls. She says that Jessica had a great personality, and she was the only one that mentioned why she chose what she wore. She loved Brenda's style, and thought she looked amazing. She thought Alasia was nervous. Mr. Jay tells them that the prize for the winner tonight, plus Jessica, who had best picture last week, will get to do a photo shoot for the May issue of Seventeen magazine. The winner will get to pick one girl to go with her. And the winner is... Jessica. Because they were planning on three girls for the shoot, Jessica gets to pick two people. She picks Brenda and Raina.
Next, we get to see the photo shoot at Seventeen with Jessica, Brenda and Raina. Jessica interviews that she wants to stay at the photo shoot forever, and she doesn't want to go back to the "drama" house.
Don't have enough drama in your life? Keep reading for another dose
As the girls are all back at the house, Raina heads into the confessional to vent about Alasia picking on Jessica. Alasia is standing outside the door listening to what Raina is saying in her confessional. When Raina comes out, she acts all friendly, and when Alasia goes inside to do her own venting, she comments about how fake Raina was, acting friendly to her, when 2 seconds ago, she was complaining about her. I am so sick of all this fighting. Ugh!
Time for another Tyra mail!

The Top 8 at the subway photo shoot.

The girls pull up to the subway and find the subway deserted. A train pulls up and it's Mr. Jay, Nicole Fox, Cycle 13 winner, and photographer Mike Ruiz. Nicole tells the girls about the challenge, which is to pose as various types of New York women on the subway, wearing CoverGirl's new smokey eye shadow.
Off to hair and makeup, which is on the subway train. Angelea sits down with Nicole and asks her how she dealt with all the drama in the house. Nicole told her to stay out of it, and stay classy. Brenda overhears the conversation and has to go tell Jessica about it. She thought it was hilariousa that Angelea would ask Nicole about what to do about all the drama, since she is the biggest instigator of drama, and that she thinks that Angelea isn't classy at all.

On to the photo shoot. Krista is first up and is playing an "aspiring actress." Mr. Jay says that Krista really looks the part. After Anslee's shoot, where she plays an "artiste," he remarks that when she looks to the camera and tries to "snarl and engage," she looks like she is smelling the stench of the subway. (No, Mr. Jay, haven't you noticed by now that Anslee ALWAYS has a snarly look on her face?) Alexandra is "Upper East Side," and photographer Mike Ruiz tells her to make him believe it. Mr. Jay said that Alexandra froze during her shoot, and they had to remind her to breathe. Raina is "East Village Rockabilly." Mr. Jay has to tell Raina not to use her hands by her face, because it looks too posed. Jessica is playing a "club goer," and she has a hard time with the movement of the subway. Angelea plays the "fashionista," and does her best snobby bitch impression (which isn't hard for her to manage.) Mr. Jay is super thrilled with her shoot, saying it's her best shoot ever. Brenda is a "student." Mr. Jay tells her not to put her hand up to her face. He brings up the problem that she has looking too old. (Perhaps the past few weeks living in a house filled with drama has aged poor Brenda?) Alasia is a "model on a go-see." Mr. Jay had to tell her to focus. He tells her that he doesn't even have a picture to show Tyra, which causes Alasia to burst into tears. (I honestly think Alasia needs to develop a thicker skin. Every time she is criticized, she breaks out the waterworks.) And that's a wrap.

Time for the skull of death Tyra mail!
"Tomorrow you will meet with the judges. Only 7 will continue on in the hope of becoming America's Next Top Mode."
It's panel time. Tyra introduced the judges. Nigel Barker, André Leon Talley and Ann Shoket from Seventeen magazine.
- Raina - "East Village Rockabilly" -- Tyra says she lost her neck. ALT loved her face and skin.
- Krista - "Aspiring actresss" -- Nigel loves that she gave herself a role to play. ALT says it's an All-American fresh photograph.
- Jessica - first off, ALT hates her shoes, and says, "they take your innocent charm to dreck-HOLLA!" Jessica says she thinks they look great. Her shoot was "Club goer" -- Nigel says she looks a little lost. Tyra said she looks confused.
- Brenda - "Student" -- Ann wishes Brenda showed more energy. Nigel says she looks like a mannequin.
- Alasia - "Model on a Go-see" -- Nigel says she looks like a model wanting to go to a go-see. ALT says he loved her photo from the first week, and he would hang it in his salon, but this girl he wouldn't want to get to know.
- Anslee - "Artiste" -- Nigel likes the smirk on her face. Ann says it looks like she knows something fantastic, and everybody wants to find out what it is.
- Alexandra - "Upper East Side" -- Nigel says it's her best shot to date. Tyra says she loves the lean that Alexandra does, and it looks like a real ad to her. Ann says she would book her in a heartbeat for a beauty story.
- Angelea - "Fashionista" -- Nigel says it's the best picture of her ever. ALT agrees. He says he hears she's just as wonderful in her personal life. Behind her, the girls looked like, what??? Nigel mentions it, and Angelea says that she has haters.
After the judges deliberate, they decide who will go home.
- Angelea
- Krista
- Raina
- Alexandra
- Anslee
- Jessica
The bottom two are Brenda and Alasia. They think Brenda doesn't have fire and desire in her photos. They think Alasia didn't use her gift of dancing to inspire her photos. Who will go home? Brenda will be packing her bags.
Next week, the girls will meet some drag queens and compete against them, and Alasia gets left behind when everyone goes off to a challenge. (I guess she forgot to shower at night?)
