America's Next Top Model Cycle 14 Top 5 models

Last week on America's Next Top Model, the girls landed in New Zealand, where they went immediately into a go-see challenge. Angelea took it head on, with her plan to visit the furthest designers first, and work her way back, while Alasia ended up leaving her map at one of the designers locations, and she had to have the cab take her back to get it, causing her to be 45 minutes late back at the agency. Angelea booked 6 out of 6 designers that she visited, and was the winner of the challenge.

The photo shoot took place out in the countryside, where the girls had to each model the same dress, and interact with a sheep named "Prince." Krista came out on top when it came down to call-outs at panel, and Alasia and Jessica were in the bottom two, with Alasia packing her bags and heading back to the U.S.A. again. Who will be eliminated this week? Read on to find out.

In the car going home from the previous week's panel, Raina gives a cheer for everyone being in the Top 5, saying "go team." Alexandra, on the other hand wasn't feeling it, thinking that she isn't there to be best friends with anyone, and she doesn't want to be fake, She says now she just has to take on all those skinny tartes, and from here on out it's going to be nasty. Jessica interviews about being in the bottom two last week, and feels it was a reality check, and she needs to get herself together.

Back at the house, Krista is enjoying seeing her digital photo for winning last week. She interviews that having received best photo two weeks in a row has put her on a high high. She feels that the other girls are getting tired, but that's how she wants them to be, because she's gonna run right past them. Angelea isn't feeling Krista's excitement, and she climbs the stairs to the sleeping quarters to get away from everyone's concentration on Krista's photo. She interviews that Krista is her girl, but she doesn't understand why she's doing so well. She feels that she's not as close to Krista as she once was, and sees Krista and Alex becoming closer. She's going to just have to step her game up and bring it, so she can get back on top.

Meanwhile in the kitchen, Jessica decides to make tacos, and she interviews that being in the competition has made her realize how much she loves family, and how much she misses her husband and son. Jessica decides that warming the taco shells on the top of the toaster would be a good idea. One of the shells falls inside and starts on fire, and Jessica panics and gets a dish towel and wets it and throws it over the fire. Someone yells that she should unplug it, and Alexandra says that she can't believe that Jessica threw water on an electrical fire. She is concerned about Jessica being a mother and not knowing what to do in the kitchen. Jessica says that Alexandra and Krista are just being mean.

The next day, the bus takes the girls to the location of their first challenge. On the way, Krista is picking on Raina, and Raina interviews that she isn't into all the catfighting in the house. She then talks about when she was growing up, how she wasn't the most gorgeous looking child. As she got to be a teenager, she came out of her shell, and got to be competitive, wanting to be the best. She says she's not going to let the fact of Krista and Alexandra making fun of her get to her.

The bus arrives at Hobbiton, the set of the Shire from the Lord of the Rings. The girls walk through a field filled with sheep poop to find Mr. Jay and a young, blonde lady. He tells the girls that they are on the set of Hobbiton from the Lord of the Rings movies, and with him is Sarah McLeod, who played Rosie Cotton in the films. (If you can't remember who that is, she had a very small part of Samwise Gamgee's love interest in the movie.) The girls are all excited about this, with the exception of Angelea, who says that she's never seen the movie. (What? You're kidding me!)

Sarah welcomes the girls, and talks about how in both modeling and acting, you sometimes have to be in uncomfortable places. She says that she is 5'7, and that there were times when she had to go in and out of the small Hobbit-sized door frames. Mr. Jay says the girls will be doing a photo shoot posing inside one of the round Hobbit doors. They will be modeling designs from World Designs, and will each have 5 frames only.

Off to get their outfits, and then to the Hobbiton set. They meet their photographer, Guy Coombes, who will be taking their photos. Alexandra is up first,and she has some harem pants and a pink blouse. She poses in the door to the side, and her last shot, she lies down on her back with her legs spread open in the air. Uh, not pretty at all. Krista is second. She is wearing a short skirt and pink blouse with huge, poofy sleeves. She talks about how she feels she can easily be in the Top 2, and she can take out the other person. She thinks her closest competition is Angelea, and says that they aren't as close as they used to be. She feels that the separation is probably because now Angelea sees her as competition, because she feels that Angelea didn't see her that way at first. Jessica is the third girl to pose. She's wearing a knee-length pink skirt with a yellow belt and sleeveless white blouse. She poses in the door, and it looks strictly like a catalog. Alexandra even says she feels like she's looking at the Dillards catalog. Next, Angelea just heads to the doorway before she's even called. She has on a beautiful cobolt blue knee-length dress with short sleeves. She interviews that they are getting down to the wire, and she says that people are acting differently. She says that Krista and Alex are both trying to get under her skin in a subtle way. She feels that they realize she is competition. The last to pose is Raina, who is wearing kelly green pants with a black blouse that has big poofy sleeves. She seems to have a little more difficulty in the doorway.

Mr. Jay and Sarah critique each girl. Alexandra gets the critique that she definitely tried something different, but the legs in the air, head back pose looked like it belonged in a pinup magazine. Ouch. Raina gets the critique that she used the space well, but she looked uncomfortable. For Jessica, they feel that she wasn't doing the amazing Jessica poses, but the standard poses. They feel Angelea's poses were nice and simple. They like the length they are getting in the arms and neck from Krista. So, who wins? Krista is the winner. She will receive $3,000 worth of merchandise from World. As the winner of the best picture last week, she will also receive another $1,500 worth of clothes. Wow! Angelea looks dejected again, and she can't believe she didn't win. She is truly a sore loser.

When the girls get back to the model home, they find the clothes waiting for Krista. Most of the girls are excited for her, and admire the clothes, but Angelea wasn't having any of it, and she went off by herself, and interviewed, "I don't care. She can keep those clothes. So what. I'll buy me some clothes when I get my contract."

Krista and Alexandra are re-living Angelea's "club walk" from last week's panel. Angelea, who is in the bathroom nearby, is saying that Alexandra and Krista are acting immature. Krista says that Angelea is fine when she is mocking other people, but the minute the joke is on her, she can't take it. Angelea talks about growing up on the east side of Buffalo. There is no nice part of the east side of Buffalo. She talks about getting knocked down countless times, and we see her appearance back in Cycle 12, in the semi-finals, where she admits to sleeping in the Port Authority bus terminal. She didn't make it to Cycle 12, but she's here now, and she's not going to let the other girls get to her.

Krista and Alexandra are out on the rooftop sunbathing and Raina comes out on the upper deck and calls out, "Morning glories. Oh Mylanta, this place is so inspirational." Krista looks at Alex and shakes her head. She interviews that she thinks that Raina is so fake with her bubbly personality. Next thing you know, it's time to pack up and get into the bus to head to your challenge for the day. The final stop is a barn, where they meet Mr. Jay. He tells them that the location is a wine vineyard, and that the New Zelanders plant the grapes at a perfect angle to get the most from the sun.

Today's photo shoot will have the models looking for their light through the shadows, and Tyra is their photographer. Raina gives another "Oh Mylanta," and I'm already sick of the saying. Something tells me she has been watching too many "Full House" marathons, or she wants to impress John Stamos with her repetition of his popular saying from that show. Sheesh. Enough already! Back to the photo shoot. Tyra tells the girls she has wanted to do a shadow photo shoot for a long time, and they are her "lucky specimens."

Off to hair and makeup. Of course, for some reason, Tyra's idea for hair is to put mud and clay in the girl's hair. She decides the colors based on the girl's themselves. She picks out some of the clothes too. At the makeup table, Jessica is worried that she won't be able to pull off the fierce editorial face, and she thinks she may be going home if she can't get it together right now.

First to do her shoot is Alexandra. Tyra tests different fabrics, and ends up with a tablecloth. Tyra is impressed with how the shoot turned out.

Jessica is second. She has a more circular shaped screen. She seens to have a problem at first, but ends a bit better.

Raina has to pose with ropes over her boobs and panties. Tyra was excited to shoot her with her "wolf" eyes. But, in the end, she said Raina gave her Siberian Husky, not wolf.

Angelea is next, and she is worried about Tyra shooting her. Her hair looks like it's braided into a circle. Tyra says that Angelea was just "blah," and she told her to just go dead, and that's when something happened. I didn't see anything great, but Tyra seemed to like it.

Krista is last, and Tyra is trying to get things done as they are losing the light. Tyra likes her angles.

Back at the model home, the girls get the skull of death Tyra mail.

"Tomorrow you will meet with the judges. Only 4 will continue on in the hope of becoming America's Next Top Model."

Raina interviews; "Oh Mylanta... I do not want to go home. I've made it this far, I have to go all the way. I'm so determined." ARGH!!! Stop with that stupid saying!

Time for judging. Tyra talks about the prizes and introduces the judges. Nigel Barker, Andre Leon Talley and guest judge Sarah McCleod.

Alexandra - Nigel says she looks powerful in the eyes. ALT thinks she looks ethnic in the photo.
Raina - Sarah says that the eyes are closed, which makes it hard to see what intention was there. Nigel wishes she lowered her head just a bit. ALT sees anger coming out of her face. Tyra thinks it's different.
Angelea - ALT thinks it looks like a Matisse painting. Nigel doesn't like how her eyes look.
Jessica - Sarah likes how her eyes look. ALT is speechless. Nigel says that maybe her portrait isn't her best feature.
Krista - Nigel says that she found the light, and ALT said it could be a cover of Vu magazine. Tyra loved shooting her.

After the judges deliberate, they call the girls back in and announce who had the best picture and who will be going home.

The bottom two are Jessica and (Oh Mylanta), Raina. They think Jessica is commercial, and Raina is romantic, but maybe can't do edgy. Who goes home? Bye Bye Jessica. She can go back home to her husband and little boy.

Next week is the 2 week finale. They will be sending two people home next week, and only two of them will be in the finale runway show.
