America’s Grape Country Wine Festival: August 9th and 10th, 2014

America’s Grape Country Wine Festival, Saturday and Sunday, August 9th and 10th, returns for a sixth year to the Chautauqua County Fairgrounds, 1089 Central Ave. in Dunkirk. The event will feature live music, wine tasting, seminars and more.

Among the more than two dozen wineries expected to attend the event are:

· 21 Brix Winery

· Ashley Lynn Winery

· Eagle Crest Winery

· Glenora Wine Cellars

· Knapp Vineyards

· Merritt Estate Winery

· Niagara Landing Wine Cellars

· Thousand Islands Winery

The event will also feature food and craft vendors, including:

· Barker Chocolate Box

· Brothers of Mercy Olive Oils

· D’Avolio Olive Oils and Vinegars

· Lindt Chocolates

· Sweet Temptations du Jour

Numerous seminars will be taking place on the Yancey’s Fancy NY Artisan Wine and Food Stage – click here for a schedule.

Advanced sale prices for the wine festival are $16.13 (including tax and fees) for one-day passes and $21.50 (including tax and fees) for two-day passes; designated driver tickets are $5.38 (including tax and fees); prices increase at the gate. Admission includes a cloth wine tote, a commemorative glass, a taster’s guide, educational seminars and parking for the event. Find out more about the festival at www.agcwinefestival.com.
