By the end of Wednesday night's results show for "America's Got Talent", the field of 36 will be down to 12 -- and there will only be one more round to go.
So were there any surprises? Check out the list below.
Group one
- Haspop
- The South Philly Vikings
- CJ Dippa
This group is a disappointment, mainly because it doesn't bode well for the future of Haspop -- who is truly one of the most fantastic people on the show this season. CJ Dippa is great for his age, but Haspop left his family in France! Doesn't that count for something?
Surprisingly, Haspop pulled it off! CJ still has the potential for a great career, so being eliminated may not hurt him as much in the long run.
Group two
- Chipps Cooney
- Molina Vochek
- Studio One Young Beast Society
The gang from Studio One was a lock to advance, so there's almost no sense in even talking about the other two. At least we don't have to see Chipps take his clothes off anymore!
Group three
- Debra Romer
- Luigi
- The Strange Familiar
This was one of the first groups this season that was truly competitive. Debra has received the most airtime of the three, but Luigi is a good-looking young guy who has a built-in audience thanks to his Filipino heritage.
In the end, the audience picked Debra, who gets another week to build her confidence.
Group four
- Harmonica Pierre
- Maya and Sadie
- Jeremy V. (i'm not even going to try to pronounce the last name)
First of all, we have to rule out Pierre even though he is great at what he does. The same could be said with the bellydancers, since there's really no way the judges decide against butting through an amazing guy on a bicycle. Harmonica Pierre was eliminated by the vote, leaving us with the cyclist and the dancers.
Sharon picked first, and (as expected) selected Jeremy. Piers then followed suit, making Howie's vote pretty much null and void.
Were you surprised by any of the choices?
