On Tuesday night the new season of “America’s Got Talent” premiered, and to say that viewers rejoiced does not quite encompass the essence of what this show is about. It can be funny, heart warming, heart wrenching, silly, and with a bit of suspense, when performers come on stage and by their body language audience, viewers, and judges alike predict embarrassment; but then suddenly before all an amazing presentation begins. Such was the case of Nick and Rachel they had only been practicing a dance routine for 4 days, and as they spoke with the judges they seemed so uncomfortable, but then everyone was mesmerized at the dancing combined with shadows.

But let’s not forget the duo Acte II, they seemed a bit talkative and not very serious about what they were about to do, the interview with the judges was somewhat amusing, but it did not predict the outstanding performance that ensued as these two ladies started to sing. Beautiful and flawless soprano voices that rendered the audience silent and all mesmerized listened to their fascinating vocals.

Then there are acts that although exciting, the thought comes to mind what can they do later on to remain in the competition and move forward to winning the $1 million dollar grand prize and a headline show in Las Vegas, and that was the thought as the gentleman who despite being 93 years old, nevertheless, managed to pull a car with three passengers inside the vehicle with just his teeth, yes, that is right his teeth, not implants his original teeth…

The first act was also amazing from a well spoken and hilarious 9 year old, who without question is a prodigy and 2 years away from going to college, his performance at the piano was fantastic. However, as far as heart warming and without question one of America’s favorite is this young kid who along with his sister were sent to foster home at the young age of 5 and for a while felt no one cared for him and only music kept him going, now with a new family that loves and supports him, he came to “America’s Got Talent” and moved everyone to tears with his amazing voice and a song that will undoubtedly become a sensation; his name is Jacob Curlee and he will go far in this competition.

“America’s Got Talent” runs on Tuesday at 8 p.m. on NBC.
