The new season of “American’s Got Talent” has now added a fourth judge. TMZ reported on March 3 that Heidi Klum has been named as the new judge. After agreeing to the deal the 39-year-old supermodel caught a plane to join fellow judges Howard Stern, Howie Mandel and Melanie Brown. TMZ was able to capture and post a photo that clearly shows Heidi’s name by the judge’s seats.
Heidi earned an Emmy nomination in 2008 for “Project Runway,” which she also executive produces. She also worked on Germany’s “Next Top Model.” The mother of 4 who divorced from Seal in 2005 has also served as host of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show several times.
Mel B is also a new judge on AGT this season. She is replacing Sharon Osborne who quit at the end of the last season. Osborne quit after saying her son was fired by NBC from the competition entry “Stars Earn Stripes.”
The show is set to begin its eighth season by filming the first round of auditions in New Orleans. The season premiere is scheduled to air May 28.
