The "America's Got Talent" 2013 semifinals results show for group 1 was tough to take since half of the 12 acts who performed this week were eliminated on Aug. 28. So who who left 'AGT' on Wednesday? Who was eliminated?
Host Nick Cannon was in charge of delivering this information in a nail-biting, hour-long show that also featured the music of Cassadee Pope and One Direction. "The Voice" season 3 winner sang her single, "Wasting All My Tears," while 1D warbled their smash hit, "Best Song Ever," with the crowd at Radio City Music Hall screaming at levels not heard since the Beatles hit the "Ed Sullivan Show."
Meanwhile, all twelve acts who had made it to the "America's Got Talent" semifinals waited to learn their collective fate.
By the end of the evening. Cannon delivered the good news that Cami Bradley, Collins Key, Forte, Innovative Force, and Taylor Williamson are moving on.
That left one last act who performed on Tuesday that was allowed to stay in the competition. The choice was between gritty singer Dave Fenley and illusionist dancers Catapault Entertainment.
As it turns out, Catapult Entertainment was preferred by three judges out of four (Mel B is a huge Dave Fenley fan), and so the group of silhouette artists were allowed to continue on their quest to win "America's Got Talent" 2013. In addition, Howard Stern decided to reveal his wild card act: Magicians Leon & Romy.
All of the above will perform for the chance to take the title of "AGT" in two weeks time. Stay tuned.
