During her show, which is part of Michaels' "Maximize Your Life" tour, the "Biggest Loser" trainer shared her personal insights into how people can improve various parts of their lives, including nutrition, exercise and self.
"I found Jillian's show to be informative and inspiring," said Casey Lebahn, an Austin resident who attended the show. "Even though much of what she spoke about has been said before, she presented it in a way that it was useful and something I know that will help me in my everyday life."
As part of the nutrition portion of her show, Michaels covered the various aspects of food, including the addition of poisonous ingredients into U.S. food, including chemicals like sodium nitrates and monosodium glutamate. Tools to help people understand these chemicals and their dangers are available on her website.
She continued to talk about exercise, skipping the emphasis on the importance of exercise but on how to gauge how much you should be doing. From there, she tied the topics together by highlighting the importance of self.
Michaels started her tour in March and will continue to visit locations across the country through May. Upcoming tour spots include Peoria, IL; Louisville, KY; Charlotte, NC; New York; and Los Angeles. To purchase tickets and for more information, visit http://www.jillianmichaelslive.com.
