America's Cup - AC World Series Match-Racing finals set for Saturday - slideshow (Photos)

The match-race finals of the San Diego stop for the America's Cup World Series begin Saturday, November 19, 2011. James Spithill, skipper of the Oracle Racing team boat will face Terry Hutchinson, driving for France's Energy Team in a best-of-three match. Racing is scheduled to begin at 1:10 p.m. PST.

The boats being sailed were specially designed for the multi-event AC World Series, leading up to the America's Cup elimination races and finals, to be held on San Francisco Bay in the Summer of 2013.

The World Series events use one-design 45' wing-sailed catamarans, with each team using essentially identical boats. The America's Cup event will use 72' wing-sailed catamarans.

On Sunday, November 20, 2011, the fleet race and speed trial finals will be held in San Diego.
