On Saturday, November 12th, the Snake River Chapter of Oregon Rural Action will be hosting a Recycling Awareness booth at the Wal-Mart in Ontario, Oregon. November is Recycling Awareness Month and this will be an opportunity for people to learn more about the recycling opportunities in their community.
The Snake River Chapter of Oregon Rural Action will be providing information about what can be recycled and where a person can go, to properly dispose of recyclable materials. Although, the laws and resources vary on the Idaho and Oregon sides of the border, there are still many opportunities to reduce waste and help the planet.
Keep America Beautiful (www.kab.org) annually promotes America Recycles Day and also asks everyone to take their Pledge to learn and do more.
