AMC Sensory Friendly Films presents The Adventures of Tintin January 7th, 2011

The new year brings us a new roster of movies slated to be shown during AMC and the Autism Society's Sensory Friendly Films, which features newly released family films presented with the lights on and the sound turned down.  Families are free to bring special dietary snacks and everyone is free to talk, walk around or do whatever else a special needs kid might want to do - within reason, of course.

Although this program is made possible through the Autism Society there are many other conditions that would keep a child from being able to sit still, keep quiet, tolerate the darkness or the loud sound systems or otherwise be able to enjoy a film in the usual theatre conditions. 

All shows start at 10am. Tickets range between $4 and $6 at different locations nationwide.  To find a participating location near you, click here.  Los Angeles area theatres include:
