Looks like nobody is safe, no one has ever been safe, but this looks like the season where we may lose several of the regular original characters. There are also some new characters, how long they will last is anybodies guess.
Season Three in a nut shell.
TWD season three revealed the answers to two questions that fans were perplexed about. After the season was over, many of the actors made the rounds at all the cons, including "The Emerald City" con where the photo of Michael Rooker was taken from the article that is linked to above.
Episode 3.1 in which the survivors find the prison and clean a safe place for them to hide.
Episode 3.2 in which Hershel loses his leg. After being bitten by a walker, Rick immediately takes off his leg before the virus could spread. It worked, against all odds Hershel is still with the group. Miss Lori and Rick try to talk to each other, but not much was said. Carol is fooling around with dead walkers to see if she can deliver Lori's baby by C-section.
Episode 3.3 in which Merle, (yes, Merle), appears after a military helicopter crashes. He finds Andrea and Michonne. He takes them all back to Woodbury, a utopia set up by a really creepy guy who is called 'The Governor.' Michonne has the Governor's number right away, but will it do her any good?
Episode 3.4 in which there were a lot of OMG moments. T-Bone was bitten, his last act as a human was to save Carol. Lori is in labor. However, it isn't going very well and Maggie has to do a C-section with Carl's large knife with no anesthesia and no hope of survival. Mother and son have a heartbreaking good-bye. Carl has to shoot his mother before she turns. Rick's fragile sanity takes a nose dive. Everybody thinks Carol is dead.
Episode 3.5 in which Rick loses the rest of 'it.' Maggie and Daryl go out to find food and run into a child care center. The dead survivors are buried and Andrea backs out of leaving Woodbury, this leaves Michonne to venture out alone. The best part of this episode is when Rick is in the room where Lori died and the old telephone rings. WTH. We subsequently find out it was Rick calling himself to give himself a reality check.
Epidose 3.6 in which there was a lot going on. Rick realizes that the phone calls were therapy and cleans himself up a bit and goes to be with the baby. Michonne escapes the men, including Merle, who the governor sends to killer her. Maggie and Glenn go looking for more baby food and get caught by Merle. They end up in Woodbury, which is becoming more and more like a concentration camp. But, not for Andrea who is now sleeping with the Gov. Lord love a duck. On the light and good side of things, Daryl finds Carol, alive and once again saves her from certain death. Love that Daryl.
