Teen Mom star Amber Portwood is currently on suicide watch at Indiana Madison County Jail where she's been order to stay until at least January 27.
Apparently Portwood threatened to kill herself if she was sent to prison because fellow prisoners are bullying her. Amber was moved to a different cellblock after she was attacked and punched out by a fellow inmate, the harassment has not stopped.
The Teen Mom star is being bullied on a daily basis by fellow prisoners despite being moved several times.
A source close to the situation claims Amber thought her notoriety from Teen Mom star would get her out of jail quickly.
Amber thought because she was a celebrity she'd get out of jail within a few hours like Lindsey Lohan but she definitely had a wake up call and hasn't stopped crying since she's been locked up. She's barely eaten or had any sleep in over a week and she's constantly being harassed in jail because of Teen Mom. One girl knocked [over] Amber's food tray and another inmate threw toilet water in her face while she was trying to sleep.
After the constant bullying and threats of violence, Amber now claims she's leaving Teen Mom. She believes if she's no longer a reality star, the inmates will leave her alone and she might get an earlier release date. Sources say her mom, Tonya, is trying to get MTV to release Amber from her contract.
