Amber Myers is not your ordinary 7 year old. This budding actress has big dreams and very proud parents.
“I like to draw, read, shop, play with friends and family, and go out to dinner,” says Amber. Those may seem like typical responses from a kid, but if you talk to her a little more, you’ll see that this child has star qualities and great goals.
Amber is a happy child. She likes to tell jokes, but she is all business when it comes to her school work. After all, she’s a straight “A” student, and she is in the talented and gifted program at Princeton Elementary School.
That may seem like a full plate to some, but she still has time for her hobbies of acting, singing and dancing. Amber is signed with Atlanta’s Young Faces, and she attends acting classes at Dwayne Boyd’s Premier Actors’ Network.
When asked about her daughter, her mom beams with happiness. “I am very proud of the young lady that she has become. She is very smart, focused, and determined,” says her mom, Aisha Myers.
Right now, Amber is focused on preparing for the Miss Georgia Junior Pre-Teen Pageant which takes place on June 28, 2013 in Atlanta, GA.
“I am very excited to wear some little girl heels, and I want to win!” says Amber, regarding the pageant.
It’s pretty evident that Amber’s dad, Lionel Myers, is one proud father. “Amber Myers is my brilliant, vibrant, and loving daughter. She’s always up for a challenge to better herself. I’m very proud of her and honored to be her dad. I love her unconditionally,” says Lionel Myers.
Amber is certain to do well in the pageant, and with loving and supportive parents like these, she’s already a big winner.
