Amber Marchese's hubby says Teresa Aprea and Nicole Napolitano quit 'RHONJ'

The drama of being on "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" seems to have gotten to newbies Teresa Aprea and Nicole Napolitano. According to Jim Marchese, husband of fellow new housewife Amber Marchese, it got so volatile during filming at one point that the twins even quit the show!

On Wednesday, August 27, Jim tweeted that the twins quit the show because of Victoria Gotti's claim, during a chat with Amber and Teresa Giudice, that Teresa A.'s husband, Rino Aprea, actually had an affair with his mother-in-law, the twin's mother. On Friday, August 29, when someone tweeted that Nicole has denied that she quit the show, Jim replied that both she and her sister did quit and that he was there to witness it.

However, fans of the twins don't have to worry since they'll likely see the twins finish off season six and perhaps even come back for another season. Jim wrote that "[Nicole's] sis too probably changed her mind," indicating that both women thought better of it and returned to the show once their emotions calmed down. Jim ended his tweet by stating that "not much more damage can be done." The twins are likely hoping that having someone claim on national TV that their mother slept with one of their husbands is the worst of it!

Lately, both Teresa and Nicole have been busy retweeting tweets from fans saying what a great addition they are to the show, so it definitely seems as if both women want to stick around. Of course, whether they get invited back for another season is ultimately up to the show's producers.

Even before season six of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" aired, there were already reports out that Teresa Aprea and Nicole Napolitano weren't having the best of time filming. In late December, Radar Online reported that the twins "“threatened to quit the show," with one twin even throwing off her mic pack and walking away while filming a scene. This is likely the incident that Jim tweeted about.

A source for the article said that he/she doesn't see the twins lasting longer than this one season. Could the source have been Amber Marchese's husband Jim Marchese? After all, as evidenced by his tweets, he has shown that he has no problem revealing the show's secrets to everyone.
