Amber Alert update: Zahra Baker missing without her hearing aids (video)
An Amber Alert was issued for Zahra Baker on October 10, 2010. Now missing for more than 48 hours, as she was last seen by her stepmother at 2:30 a.m. October 9, 2010, authorities say they do not believe that Zahra Baker disappeared on her own. The 10-year-old bone cancer survivor has a prosthetic left leg and lost her hearing due to the disease. Authorities found both of Zahra Baker’s hearing aids in her bedroom.
Authorities said earlier today that they are trying to establish a timeline for Zahra and determine what her life was like before she disappeared. Investigators have searched the house several times, are interviewing neighbors and teachers from Zahra’s school, and have obtained surveillance video from nearby stores hoping that there will be video footage of Zahra on the tapes.

Zahra Baker is 10-years-old and stands 5’1” tall, she weighs 85 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes. Zahra was last seen wearing a camouflage Army tee shirt and black knee length tights.
