AMBER Alert: Two-year old Denise Hernandez missing from Immokalee home

The Collier County Sheriff's Office issued a statewide Amber Alert early Monday for a missing 2-year-old Immokalee girl.

The child - Denise Hernandez - was last seen by her family in their residence on Wells Street late Sunday evening when they put her to bed.

Immokalee is a small agricultural town about 100 miles northwest of Fort Lauderdale.

Hernandez was discovered missing around 11:30 p.m. Sunday.

According to Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Hernandez is described as 3 feet tall, 40 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. A picture of the child was not immediately available.

She was wearing a white nightgown with multi-colored stripes.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of two-year old Denise Hernandez should immediately call 911, contact the nearest law enforcement agency or call the Collier County Sheriff's Office at 239-252-9300.
