AMBER Alert cancelled: Two-year old Denise Hernandez found alive

A missing girl from Immokalee has been found alive in a field near her home.

The child - Denise Hernandez - was last seen by her family in their residence on Wells Street late Sunday evening when they put her to bed wearing a white pajama gown with multi-colored stripes.

Immokalee is a small agricultural town about 100 miles northwest of Fort Lauderdale.

Hernandez was discovered missing around 11:30 p.m. Sunday.

Authorities had issued an AMBER Alert for Hernandez, a Hispanic female, 2 years old, 3 feet tall, 40 pounds, black hair with brown eyes early Monday morning. News of her safety came at about 9:30 a.m.
