The behemoth known as Amazon (Studios) is set to produce a Zombieland television show spun off from the highly successful film of the same name according to Broadcast Now.
There's no word yet on casting and by the looks of things the film is looking to be remade as a television show as opposed to a continuation of Zombieland.
Personally, I don't think it's a bad idea at all concept-wise, because it was originally conceived as a television pilot, but what will hurt the show is if they cast new actors to fill in the roles of the familiar cast of characters that were already introduced in the film. I doubt Woody, Emma, Jesse, or Abigail would return for a TV run. Then again, it all depends on the budget.
