Amazon Prime Air: Bill Gates agrees with Jeff Bezos, but says it’ll take time

Monday, Bill Gates was asked in a CNN interview what he thought about the Amazon Prime Air service that Jeffery P. Bezos announced Sunday night on “60 Minutes”; Gates thought the idea was fantastic, but said implementing it will take longer than anticipated, according to The Verge.

Amazon founder Jeffery P. Bezos said he thought it might take four or five years before we see service like the one that created an Internet buzz on Monday. The Amazon Prime Air service video shows how products under five pounds can be delivered in 30-60 minutes. The Amazon Prime Air video amazed viewers around the world and Jeffery P. Bezos seemed excited about it during his short talk.

Amazon has always been known for its quick delivery system, but the Amazon Prime Air delivery system takes this to a whole new level. The Amazon website states that the Amazon Prime Air system will become the way things are delivered in the future. Jeffery P. Bezos has always been an innovator when it comes to making his website up to date and current, but Amazon Prime Air takes that to a whole new level.

"Putting Prime Air into commercial use will take some number of years as we advance the technology and wait for the necessary FAA rules and regulations," according to a statement by Jeffery P. Bezos on the Amazon website.
