If you were thinking about buying a Kindle Fire HD, now is the time. Amazon announced a price reduction on the 8.9 inch tablet on March 13, 2013.
Both the Kindle Fire HD and the Kindle Fire HD with 4G have been discounted as much as $100 off.
Here's the rundown of the new pricing on Amazon:
- Kindle Fire HD 16 GB $269
- Kindle Fire HD 32 GB $299
- Kindle Fire HD with 4G LTE $399
- Kindle Fire HD 4G LTE $499
Amazon vice president Dave Limp explained the price drop on Wednesday, stating, "As we expand Kindle Fire HD 8.9 to Europe and Japan, we’ve been able to increase our production volumes and decrease our costs."
In addition to the price drop, the Kindle Fire HD is now available in Japan, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy and Spain.
